​Ricky started his martial arts training in his mid-20s in the army. He joined the US Army boxing team while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. During that time, Ricky developed a deep love for Japanese culture and its rich history in combat arts; as a he started training in Ken Wa Kan Karate-Do. After leaving the army, Ricky decided to take up modeling to learn the ins-and-outs of the entertainment business. He spent two years as a model then ventured into acting by doing background work.

Since then, Ricky attended the School Conservatory of Dramatic arts and has been in a mulitude of productons, from "The Get Down" to "Luke Cage." He looks forward to furthering his career as a stunt actor and is enthusiatic to share his knowledge.
